According to police sources, hotel staff discovered Johnson unconscious during routine service rounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Investigations revealed that Johnson had checked into the hotel with an unidentified male companion who subsequently left the premises without her. The man’s departure and Johnson’s suspicious death have prompted police to classify him as a person of interest in the case.

The FCT Police have launched what they describe as a “thorough and discreet investigation” into the circumstances surrounding Johnson’s death. Authorities are working to establish the timeline of events and identify the male companion who accompanied her to the hotel.

The FCT Police Commissioner has appealed to members of the public to remain calm while the investigation proceeds. The police chief also issued a safety advisory urging young women to exercise caution when dealing with strangers.

“We advise young women to be cautious in their dealings with strangers and to share their whereabouts with trusted contacts for their safety,” the Commissioner stated.

The incident has raised concerns about personal safety, particularly for young women, in the nation’s capital. Police have not yet released additional details about the victim or the circumstances leading to her death, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.

Anyone with information that could assist in identifying the suspect or provide details about the incident has been urged to contact the FCT Police Command.
