BREAKING: Kidnappers Abduct Two Men in Benue

Two persons from Igbeji community in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State were kidnapped last night, 27 March 2025. Reports reaching AkweyaTV indicate that the incident occurred at about 11 pm when the men were heading to another community, Ejor, for a wake keep.

The kidnapped persons were identified as Mr Onah Ojoko (also known as Ambassador) and Mr Mathew Oklo.

The kidnappers are yet to make contact with the victims’ families. No formal statement has been made by the Benue State Police Command. Kidnapping incidents have been on the rise around the Igbeji community. Residents have asked why the Otukpo LGA Chairman, Hon. Maxwell Ogiri, has not deployed the security votes to arrest the increased cases.
