BudgIT has announced the launch of a new anti-corruption initiative aimed at strengthening institutional partnerships and improving public service delivery across Nigeria.
The project, Strengthening Institutional Partnership for Anti-Corruption and Service Delivery, is being implemented under the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC) programme phase II, with funding from the European Union in Nigeria and implementation support from the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance.
In preparation for the project’s launch, BudgIT has conducted extensive consultations with key anti-corruption stakeholders and agencies at both national and state levels. These engagements have focused on developing strategies to enhance anti-corruption efforts and improve service delivery throughout the country.
On their X platform today, they stated that through collaboration, transparency, and accountability, a more equitable society can be achieved, where public resources are managed effectively for all citizens.
The project is expected to strengthen existing anti-corruption frameworks while fostering greater cooperation between institutions responsible for combating corruption and ensuring effective public service delivery.
