The four-week programme targets individuals already operating climate-focused projects with measurable results, rather than those still in the conceptual phase. ClimateLab announced Friday that selected participants will undergo a virtual visibility sprint featuring peer collaboration sessions and culminating in a Demo Day presentation to showcase their environmental impact.
The programme specifically seeks changemakers addressing climate challenges in areas including waste management, energy solutions, sustainable agriculture, pollution control, and ecosystem restoration. Applicants must demonstrate that their initiatives are producing tangible results and making measurable environmental improvements.
To qualify for consideration, candidates must submit a pitch deck detailing their climate initiative along with evidence proving their project’s real-world impact. The organisation stated that only existing programmes with demonstrated outcomes will be accepted, explicitly excluding conceptual ideas or prototype projects still in development.
Selected participants will join what ClimateLab describes as an immersive virtual experience designed to help refine their messaging, improve their presentation skills, and gain broader recognition for their environmental work. The programme aims to connect active climate problem-solvers with a growing network of like-minded changemakers working on similar environmental challenges.
Outstanding projects emerging from the programme will receive recognition as official Climate Champions, potentially providing participants with enhanced visibility and networking opportunities within the global climate action community. The virtual format allows international participation, enabling climate activists from various geographic locations to collaborate and share expertise.
The application deadline of August 22 gives prospective participants less than two weeks to prepare their submissions and demonstrate the measurable impact of their climate initiatives. ClimateLab has positioned the programme as an opportunity for proven environmental changemakers to amplify their existing work rather than launch new projects.
Interested environmental leaders can access the application process through ClimateLab’s online platform, where they will be required to provide detailed documentation of their climate initiatives’ current operations and verified impact measurements.
