At just 23 years old, Trigger Queen, who hails from Ado-Agila in Benue State but is based in Abuja, is carving a niche for herself in the music industry. Coming from a family of seven and having experienced the loss of her father, she finds solace and strength in her mother’s unwavering support. As she puts it, “The joy on my mom’s face when she hears my song on the radio is my greatest motivation.”

Trigger Queen wants to succeed in music to take care of her mother.

The Journey into Music

Trigger Queen’s love for music began early. As an introvert, she found comfort in writing and creating melodies, describing music as her ultimate peace. Her dedication to her craft and her belief in God keep her grounded and focused on achieving greatness.

From Debut to Victory

Interestingly, this was Trigger Queen’s first attempt at the The Stage is Yours competition, and she walked away as the winner. Reflecting on her victory, she said, “It feels like going to another man’s land, battling them, and emerging victorious. Such a superb feeling!” She was referring to her foray as an Agila girl into space dominated by Akweya entertainers and leaving with the prize.

Her triumph is not just a win for herself but also a message to her peers that hard work, passion, and perseverance pay off.

Musical Inspirations and Aspirations

Although she does not have a specific idol, Trigger Queen admires Nigerian artists like Fave for their unique styles. She dreams of collaborating with industry heavyweights such as Wizkid, Olamide, and Tiwa Savage. She praises Wizkid’s quiet but impactful lifestyle, Olamide’s support for upcoming artists, and Tiwa Savage’s lively personality. Among her peers, she hopes to duet with Serotone, an artist she describes as a master of vibe and emotion.

What’s Next for Trigger Queen?

With her sights set on fame and success, Trigger Queen is determined to make her mark in the music industry. She dreams of making enough to provide for her mother and inspire others with her journey. As she confidently states, “I’m not just dreaming; I’m hustling and working towards it.”

Her story is one of determination, talent, and hope—a true inspiration for young artists everywhere. We can’t wait to see what Trigger Queen will achieve next as she continues to rise in the Nigerian music scene.
