Fellow Nigerians,

Thank you for reading this post; don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel here!

I have read with great amusement the lamentations of those who consider my humble ₦200,000 gesture to the Yobe heroines as an “insult.” Permit me to clarify: it is not an insult—it is arithmetic, quota, and above all, magnanimity.

First, let it be known that the Quota of Rewards for Girls (QRG) has already been exhausted for the year. The Super Falcons, the D’Tigress, and even one female chess prodigy in Lagos have drawn down the allocation in full. In a system governed by order and not emotionalism, you cannot just be dashing out millions every time a young lady wins something abroad. Government money is not akara money.

For one, the Yobe girls did not notify our administration about their intention to compete nor win such a global competition. The Falcons and D’Tigress who were going for Africa-level contests duly notified us; what less is needed of ones going for a global competition? Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli beat over 900 students from 46 countries in English communication and debate at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London. Imagine that for a second!

Second, ₦200,000 is not “mere change,” as my critics allege. It is a carefully calculated sum under my Renewed Hope agenda, where every kobo is imbued with symbolic value. To the ordinary Nigerian, it may look like ₦200,000, but in Renewed Hope mathematics it is ₦2 million in spirit. In fact, each of the three girls received ₦200,000 worth of hope, which by my calculation equals ₦600,000 of collective destiny. Think about this like cryptocurrency. You understand.

Third, let us remember that Renewed Hope is not only about rewards but about inspiration. By giving the girls a “modest” amount, I am teaching millions of Nigerian youths the invaluable lesson that true greatness is not in the cash envelope but in the moral envelope. If you want money, go and play football. If you want honour, recite Shakespeare in London. Either way, my government will clap for you.

As for the First Lady, her silence is not neglect; it is strategic. She has been praying for the girls in quiet dignity, and prayer, as you know, is not cheap.

Therefore, let it be recorded in the annals of history: these three Yobe daughters have not been insulted, they have been blessed. They are pioneers of Renewed Hope Arithmetic, and generations yet unborn will thank me for showing that ₦200,000 can travel further than $100,000 when you add the multiplier effect of gratitude.

Signed,

His Excellency, President General and Chief Accountant of Hope, Distributor of Quotas, Custodian of Arithmetic Miracles
