The stage is being set in Gombe State for a landmark musical event as Ibi Dave prepares to host a strictly gospel reggae live recording concert on October 11th. Scheduled for 4:00 PM at All Saint College, the “Ibi Dave Live” concert represents the fulfillment of a long-held vision to produce a project of international standard that serves as a global yardstick for the gospel.
The event, which has recently revealed its full details exclusively to AkweyaTV, aims to transcend local boundaries and reach the body of Christ on a much larger scale.
Central to the evening is a live recording session where Ibi Dave and his band will perform a curated set of eight to nine songs. This ambitious production is not merely a showcase of musical talent but is designed as a spiritual platform to win souls and provide liberation for those in attendance.

By featuring a diverse lineup of gospel music ministers from both within and outside Gombe State, the concert seeks to foster a sense of unity and spiritual blessing for thousands of followers.
Beyond the immediate performance, Ibi Dave expressed a deep desire for the event to act as a catalyst for the next generation of artists. He noted that the concert is intended to stir and inspire upcoming talents, encouraging them to envision and execute high-standard projects in their own future ministries.
In his words, “We’re believing God to have thousands of people in attendance… for souls to be won during the concert, for the captive to be set free, for people to be liberated, for talents to be stirred.”
This focus on mentorship and excellence reflects Ibi Dave’s belief that the recording will be a significant contribution to the gospel music landscape.
The project, supported by No Pranks Music Int’l, marks a pivotal moment in Ibi Dave’s career after years of dreaming about such a comprehensive live recording. As the final preparations conclude, the organisers remain expectant that the outcome will exceed all previous imaginations.
With a focus on high-fidelity production and spiritual impact, the “Ibi Dave Live” concert is poised to be a defining event for the gospel reggae community in Nigeria and beyond.
