The Kristofarians, alongside Akweya Entertainment, introduced the “Rebuilding the Reggae Temple Riddim” project as a platform for Christian reggae musicians to contribute to a new gospel reggae compilation.
The project was presented as a continuation of the Kristofarians’ musical journey following the “The Christ in Reggae” album released in 2025.
According to the project description, the new riddim draws inspiration from Ezra 5:8–17, with themes including restoration, righteousness, repentance, courage, divine authority and joy in the Lord.
Executive Producer Odoh Diego Okenyodo connected the project to the biblical account of rebuilding God’s house, presenting the concept as a musical effort to rebuild the Temple of Christ through reggae.
The initiative invited Christian reggae artistes, singers, chanters and musicians to develop compositions inspired by the theme.

Participants were asked to submit their compositions, lyrics and, where available, demos, alongside their artist information.
The project planned to feature selected submissions on a “Rebuilding the Reggae Temple” compilation album, with accompanying videos, interviews and features across Akweya TV and Kristofarian platforms.
The initiative presents reggae as a medium for communicating Christian faith and bringing musicians together around a shared creative vision.
Through the project, the Kristofarians seek to expand the gospel reggae movement while creating another platform for musicians to express faith, creativity and spiritual messages through music.
