The family of Nollywood actress and content creator Jennifer Sam Odeh, popularly known as Jenypha Sam TV, has announced the burial of her beloved father, Mr Samuel Ejih Odeh, a respected aviation professional and devoted family man.

Born on July 12, 1959, in Otobi-Akpa, Otukpo LGA of Benue State, Mr Samuel Ejih Odeh built a distinguished career in Nigeria’s aviation industry, serving with several reputable airlines, including Nigeria Airways, TransSaharan Air Limited, Airtechnic Nigeria Limited, Afriqiyah Airways, and Max Air Limited. Over the decades, he rose through the ranks as an operations officer and, later, station manager, earning respect for his professionalism and dedication to the aviation sector.

A proud son of Otobi-Akpa and an alumnus of the University of Maiduguri, where he obtained a diploma in public administration in 1992, Mr Odeh combined discipline from the skies with compassion on the ground. Those who knew him remember a man who gave generously of himself — a loving husband, an intentional father, and a steady mentor to many.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Victoria Odeh; five children; two grandchildren; his mother; and siblings.

Among the children he nurtured and inspired is his daughter, Jennifer Sam Odeh, a Nollywood actress, producer, and digital creator whose storytelling on screen has earned her a growing audience. A graduate of NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY, KEFFI, where she studied French, Jennifer later trained professionally at Stanford Film Academy, Lagos, building a career that has spanned film and digital media over the last six years.

Friends, colleagues, fans, and well-wishers have begun sending condolences and prayers to the family as they prepare to lay the aviation professional and patriarch to rest.
