The stern warning was issued on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, when the FUHSO Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francis Aba Uba, led the university’s Governing Council on a rigorous, first-hand inspection tour of ongoing legacy projects.
While the tour was largely a showcase of impressive infrastructural milestones, the mood shifted when the delegation arrived at the building designated for the Departments of Microbiology and Physics. Expressing deep concern over the sluggish pace of work, Prof. Uba and the Governing Council, led by Chairman Prof. Muhammed Salihu, ordered the handling contractor to immediately accelerate construction to ensure the university’s academic timeline is not compromised.
