President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside top Nigerian security chiefs, met with a delegation from the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) in Abuja on Sunday.

The meeting, held at the Presidential Villa, focused on strengthening bilateral security cooperation, regional stability, and joint efforts to combat terrorism, insurgency, and other transnational threats.

The delegation was led by senior US military officials, while Nigeria was represented by key heads of the armed forces and security agencies. Discussions also covered intelligence sharing, military training, and capacity building to enhance national and regional security.

The engagement underscores the commitment of both countries to deepening strategic partnerships in addressing security challenges across Nigeria and the West African sub-region.
