President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched a groundbreaking initiative to establish five regional development bodies across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. This strategic move aims to accelerate socio-economic and infrastructural growth, foster national integration, and enhance infrastructure.

According to Chief Edward David Onoja, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State and current member of the South East Development Commission (SEDC),

“This effort fosters a sense of shared purpose, drives economic opportunities, and strengthens national unity – a testament to his dedication to Nigeria’s prosperity.”

The initiative is expected to promote development and economic opportunities, ultimately contributing to Nigeria’s prosperity. By fostering national integration and unity, the regional development bodies will play a crucial role in shaping the country’s future.
