Authors’ Hub, a writers’ community committed to supporting writers and promoting literary development, has announced the achievement of reaching 1,000 members globally.
The milestone was announced by the Founder and Coordinator of Authors’ Hub, Sumaila Isah Umaisha, in a special message to members, where he congratulated the community for its growth and encouraged members to use the achievement to further advance literature.
According to Umaisha, the milestone places Authors’ Hub among the largest writers’ collectives, with its diverse global membership making the achievement even more remarkable. He explained that the true value of the growing community lies in how effectively members use their numbers to support literary development.
“While this numerical strength and international reach are significant achievements, their true value lies in how effectively we leverage them to advance our core objectives of literary development,” Umaisha said.
Authors’ Hub was founded to support both emerging and established writers in improving their craft and contributing to the growth of literature. The organisation revealed plans to introduce more literary prizes, organise writing workshops, publish competition anthologies, document panel discussions, distribute members’ books to school libraries, and host book exhibitions.
Umaisha appreciated the continuous support of Dr. Awele Ilusanmi and the FAMBI GROUP, while stating that more partnerships and sponsorships are needed to achieve the organisation’s future plans.
“We are immensely grateful to Dr. Awele Ilusanmi and the FAMBI GROUP for their continuous support, scaling our initiatives requires broader collaboration,” he stated.
Members were encouraged to support the organisation by sponsoring activities or connecting the leadership team with individuals and organisations interested in promoting literary projects.
The achievement has brought happiness among members, who are excited about the growth of the community and the opportunities it creates for writers across different parts of the world.
