The Skyewise Foundation has brought excitement and hope to over 2,000 students of Government Secondary School, Gosa, along Airport Road, Lugbe, Abuja, through its Back-to-School Project.
The initiative, which targeted students from Junior Secondary School (JSS) 1 to JSS 3, provided essential learning materials, including exercise books, pens, rulers and erasers, to support their academic activities and encourage effective learning.
Speaking at the event, Founder of the Skyewise Foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Skyewise Group, Dr. Elvis Abuyere, said his experience growing up without a silver spoon inspired his commitment to giving back to society and supporting young people.
Abuyere said the project was not only about distributing school materials but also about inspiring the students to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams. He added that the foundation wanted the students to know that their dreams were valid and that they had people who believed in their ability to succeed.

The Vice Principal of the school, Bala Titus, commended the foundation for its intervention, describing it as an investment in the future of the students. He thanked the organization for remembering the school and urged other stakeholders to emulate the gesture.
Titus, however, appealed to the government to support the school with basic facilities, particularly adequate chairs and tables, which he said remained among the needs of the students.
The foundation’s Brand Ambassador, Osazee Samuel Aikhionbare, popularly known as MC Papi, also encouraged the students to take their studies seriously, stressing that commitment to education was important to achieving academic success. The event was also attended by Nigeria Info FM Abuja presenter Emmanuel Olaoluwa Aduralere Abimbola, popularly known as El-Effizy, youth leaders in the FCT and other dignitaries.
