Former Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over alleged attempted murder and other defamatory statements made by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Bello’s lawyer demands she substantiate her claims or face arrest and prosecution for criminal defamation and spreading false information.
The ex-governor also seeks retraction and public apology in national dailies, warning of legal consequences if unmet.
