The Nigerian Police Force has a new face, and his name is CSP Benjamin Hundeyin. The seasoned police officer has been appointed as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), taking over from DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who has been redeployed to the Delta State Police Command as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations.

CSP Hundeyin is a highly experienced police officer with a background in security operations and strategic communication. He is a graduate of English Language from Lagos State University and holds a Master’s degree in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. Additionally, he has undergone specialized training in Civil-Military Coordination at the Nigerian Army’s leadership institute in Jaji.

Before his appointment as FPRO, CSP Hundeyin served as the Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Police Command, earning widespread recognition for his proactive engagement with the public and the media. He has also worked with the United Nations–African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), where he honed his skills in international peacekeeping and crisis communication.

As the new FPRO, CSP Hundeyin is expected to spearhead the Force’s communications strategy, enhance transparency, and strengthen public trust through effective crisis management and strategic messaging.

CSP Hundeyin is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), a Member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).

With his wealth of experience in communications and security, CSP Hundeyin is well-equipped to handle the challenges of his new role and promote a positive image of the Nigeria Police Force
