The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Comr. Ameh Williams, has responded to allegations made by IDRISMA Foundation regarding a borehole project in Okpo. According to a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary Itodo Denis Zak Igoti, the Chairman was not informed or contacted about the project, and therefore could not have obstructed it.

The statement emphasized Comr. Williams’s commitment to transparency and inclusiveness, highlighting his recent partnerships with various stakeholders to drive development in Olamaboro. These initiatives include

* Restoring Electricity: Visiting PRADO POWER LTD and EADC to restore electricity to Olamaboro LGA

* Industrial Development: Flagging off the establishment of a Multinational Indigenous Pharmaceutical FMCG Factory

* Agricultural Development: Collaborating with IFAD/VCDP on the construction of a Cassava Processing Centre at Agbaduma, Okpo

The Chairman’s office views the allegations as a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image and discredit his developmental efforts. The public is urged to disregard the misinformation. Comr. Williams remains committed to serving Olamaboro with integrity, transparency, and a drive for development
