The Nigerian nation stands in solidarity with the families of the brave officers who lost their lives in the line of duty during the recent Boko Haram terrorist attacks in Maiduguri. Their courage, gallantry, and ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.

These selfless officers embodied the spirit of patriotism and dedication to duty, laying down their lives to protect the nation and its citizens from the scourge of terrorism. Their bravery in the face of danger is a testament to the Nigerian Army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s security.

As we honor their memory, we also acknowledge the immense challenges faced by our security personnel in the fight against terrorism. It is imperative that the Nigerian government provides our brave men and women in uniform with the necessary equipment, technology, and support to ensure their safety and effectiveness in operation.

We urge the government to prioritize the welfare and well-being of our security personnel, including providing them with state-of-the-art equipment, intelligence gathering capabilities, and adequate training to tackle the evolving threat of terrorism. By doing so, we can honor the sacrifices of our fallen heroes and ensure that their colleagues are better equipped to protect the nation.

To the families of the fallen officers, we extend our deepest condolences and gratitude for the sacrifices you have made. Your loved ones may be gone, but their legacy will live on in the hearts of Nigerians.

May their souls rest in peace, and may their sacrifice never be in vain.

We stand with the Nigerian Army and the families of the fallen heroes, and we pray for the nation’s continued peace and security.
