A legal practitioner and scholar, Dr. Agada Elachi, has been appointed to the Edo State Multi-Door Courthouse (ESMDC) Governing Council.
The ESMDC is a cornerstone in fostering efficient and accessible justice by reducing case backlogs, providing cost-effective conflict resolution procedures, and increasing access to justice for all.
Dr. Elachi holds the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a doctorate in Terrorism, Mediation, and Peace. His professional experience includes several legal sectors, most notably alternative dispute resolution (ADR), with a focus on mediation and arbitration.
He joined the Nigerian bar in 1999 and also has a PhD in Public Policy and Administration with a focus on Terrorism, Mediation, and Peace from Walden University in the United States, as well as a master’s degree in law. He is an SEC-certified capital market operator who practices investment advice and commercial law.
He is a fellow of numerous professional groups, including the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC, Nigeria) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He also has a diploma in international commercial arbitration.
