In a significant meeting held yesterday, His Excellency Alh Atiku Abubakar received a delegation of stakeholders from the Kogi East Senatorial Zone.

The delegation was led by Elder Simon Achuba, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State.

During the meeting, Elder Achuba highlighted several pressing issues, with a particular emphasis on the escalating insecurity in the North and its far-reaching consequences.

In response, His Excellency Alh Atiku Abubakar expressed his appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the genuineness of the concerns raised.

While admitting that the government had not done enough to protect the lives of citizens, Alh Atiku Abubakar called for collective action to address the security challenges. He emphasized the need for every community to rise to the occasion, stressing that all hands must be on deck to protect lives and properties.

This meeting underscores the growing concerns about security in the region and the need for collaborative efforts to address these challenges.
