A world class specialist hospital has been built at Otobi, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State. Known as Peta, the highly-rated healthcare facility, which is ninety percent completed, has attracted the attention of His Majesty, the Och’Idoma, John Elaigwu Obagaji Odogbo, who plans to visit the institution between 11 and 14 of July 2023.
According to the CEO/Director of Peta Hospital, Dr Peter Agbo, the proposed visit of the Och’Idoma is significant in many ways, particularly as, according to him, the visit “represents royal blessing and the favour of God been bestowed on the project, validating the project as divine.”
The construction of the gigantic classic medical facility that has gulped over 500 million naira, will be commissioned for full medical operations early 2024. Application for employment is already being received from suitable candidates.
The CEO further said that the Hospital is meant to inspire hope and contribute to the health and well-being of Benue State by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research for the rural communities.
Dr Peter Agbo, who has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering (BSME), has been selected for an award as one of the ten people who have done a noble thing in the community. The award which will be delivered at the annual Idoma Conference in the United States of America which will have the Och’Idoma and the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev Father Hyacinth Alia, in attendance.
Dr Agbo, an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Licence Practical Nurse (AASD- LPN), and Associate of General Studies (AGS), also holds a Bachelor of Art and Humanity (BA), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and DNP-FNP-APRN Prepare.
