Nigerian financial expert and tax consultant, Chief Abba Adaudu, has expressed satisfaction with the positive changes emerging from his years of supporting grassroots development, particularly among young people in his community.
Adaudu made this known during a personality segment interview at AkweyaTV, where he spoke about his career, community development efforts and his commitment to empowering people at the grassroots.
Reflecting on the impact of initiatives started about 26 years ago, Adaudu said several young people who participated in the programmes have grown into leadership positions and are now contributing actively to the development of their communities.
According to him, many of the beneficiaries are now working, running private businesses and participating in different community development activities.
He also highlighted the growing number of professionals emerging from his community, including lawyers, accountants and people involved in agriculture and other businesses.
Adaudu said the progress demonstrates that investing in people can produce lasting results and create opportunities that extend beyond immediate support.
He further noted the increasing involvement of women in community activities, particularly in awareness programmes and other areas of development.
The financial expert described the emergence of new businesses and platforms within the community as signs of the progress recorded over the years.

“It’s working. It’s impacting,” Adaudu said, expressing his belief in the positive effect of the initiatives on the community.
He explained that his commitment to grassroots development is driven by his connection to his community and his desire to contribute to its long-term growth.
Adaudu said he considers it his responsibility to lay foundations that will benefit not only his generation but also those coming after them.
He added that seeing young people develop their careers, establish businesses and become involved in community development motivates him to continue supporting initiatives that create opportunities for others. For Adaudu, the growing achievements of young people and professionals from his community represent encouraging signs that sustained investment in people can contribute meaningfully to grassroots development.
